Believe it or not, I got this from a tumblr account that's just as crazy over John Ohhh as I am.

I forgot to write my own personal opinion about Audrey Niffenegger's book.
Let me start by saying that it's pretty depressing. I mean, the setting's a cemetery and we're talking about ghosts here. I ended up not liking it. It got pretty messed up after this huge climax. I'm quite glad there isn't a happy ending for Elspeth (or however you spell her name); she doesn't deserve Robert in the end. Julia and Theo are good together. Martin and Marjike (I don't know how to spell hers either) are blissful together, too. Valentina and her ghost people, well, I still think she should've ended up with Robert and not just the kitten. I felt bad that she had to die and I can't believe she was stupid enough to actually consider losing her body, even for a short while. I really hated her for that. I hated Elspeth more for everything. I think she ruined the whole story.
My best friend is out of the country for two weeks. She made a stop at Korea for about five, seven hours? I'm not entirely sure. Then she's going straight to the United States. That's about eighteen hours, if I remember her telling me correctly. She'll be back on the twenty-eighth, though, so it's not so bad.
Advanced Merry Christmas, everyone!
