This Is Real Life

I GOT MY BOOK. I GOT MY BOOK. I GOT MY BOOK.

My dad came home with my mom from the airport and I missed my mom so I shouted "Moooom!" and all my little baby children (siblings) were also screaming mom. I didn't have my glasses on and I was lying on the sofa with my feet on Shawn's back. He was playing PS2 with Jimi. Anyway, my dad went to Jim and brought two DVD's. One was Alvin and the Chipmunks Part Two, the other one was this movie with some dude who looked like Rivers Cuomo for a second (no glasses). And then my dad raised his hand, holding a yellow-ish/orange-ish package and said: "Your book came!" AND THEN I SCREAMED. I SCREAMED SO LOUD AND SO LONG. This is not a joke. Ask my brothers. And I kept screaming. I grabbed it from him and I was still screaming and showing it to everyone who was downstairs (Mom, brothers, sisters, Dad) and went on screaming. My mom was like, "Happy Birthday, Kate!" And then I hugged her and I was like "THANKS, MOM!" and then more screaming. I kept saying, "Ohmygawd, I am so happy. Look, Jan! I GOT MY BOOK. OHMYGAWD, I GOT MY BOOK." And then I started tearing open the package (no time to be neat about it, I was way too excited). It felt so awesome to be holding something. I was really grateful for this. It's actually my Christmas gift but it's still a great belated birthday gift even though it was never supposed to be one. Haha. I savoured the moment when I took it out and stared at the front cover. Then I flipped it and looked at the back. My dad was like, "I want to see it." And then I told him about the whole savouring thing, except not exactly word for word. Then I opened it to the first page and was like, "ta-da!" but it was only a blank page. Haha. Anyway, it begins with Pat and I've only been to about the fourth page because I stopped to call Cielo! I got so excited! And then I sort of screamed at her also, sort of. I was so happy and she was so happy for me! And we were all happy because we're happy people! Yeah! I haven't finished it yet (like I said, I'm savouring it and it wouldn't be nice if I just read it all in one day, now would it?). I'm gonna show it to errybodeh tomorrow when we partaaay at my place.

Birthday

Forgot to write on here.

Anyway, it's been about two days since my birthday so I am officially seventeen! It wasn't much of a big deal, though. I had fun, of course, most of the time. I don't know. I mean, I'm glad about it, but I guess I felt like it lacked something, you know? I think it's 'cause my mom wasn't there. She's coming back tomorrow, though. Retreat stuff. Oh, well. Cielo gave me a gift! It's absolutely brilliant. She got me Forrest Gump. Sort of.

I hate tumblr, by the way.

Seventeen.

I'm turning seventeen in 10 days! January 26th. I'm not excited to turn older, though. But there's this book that I've been dying to have since December last year. It's called This Is Real Life by a great band, The Maine. It's either coming on the week before my birthday or on it. So. Friggin'. Excited.

Avatar in 3D.

I watched it last year with my brothers at the mall. It was pretty cool, especially since it was in 3D. Like, it really popped out. I don't exactly understand how it was so awesome. Everyone thought it was. I thought it was a pretty good movie, but not something to go all crazy over. I actually got a headache (but that was because I had to wear the 3D glasses over my proper ones). So, yeah. The princess was hella scary with her funky voice. And Jake whatshisface looked cute in some parts.
